Selena Gomez has blessed haute couture fashion week with her presence. The actress was photographed in Paris yesterday, wearing a white ruffle-sleeved blouse with a coquettish keyhole neckline and a black mini skirt. She tied the classic black-and-white outfit together with white heels and a light gray purse. A polished, slicked-back bun and large hoop earrings completed the look.
The second season of Gomez's series Only Murders in the Building just started airing on Hulu this month. Its second episode featured her character, Mabel, sharing a steamy kiss with Alice, played by her longtime friend Cara Delevingne.
Delevingne spoke to E! about what it was like kissing Gomez for the show. “It was just fun,” Delevingne said. “Would anyone in the world not like to kiss Selena? It was just hysterical. It’s just one of those things, especially when you know someone so well, it’s the comfortability and you kind of have fun with it.”
Delevingne, who identifies as pansexual, added, “For me to be able to get to play a queer role meant so much to me, and [Selena] knew that. To represent that was really exciting.”
Gomez had glowing things to say during her own E! interview about Delevingne joining the cast, saying she “got this part completely on her own. I actually want to give her her accolades. This was all her, and I couldn't have been luckier. She is fantastic and I love our characters and our relationship. I got very proud as a friend to see her just do an incredible job.”
